    I cut about 4" off the height of the base to make mine fit right. It was an easy install. No welding necessary-all bolted together.

    I bought a used one on Ebay and installed it in my 5 ton (same cab as a Deuce) It fit great after some modification of the frame. I made it fit the same way as the spring ride seat by adding a steel plate to the bottom that lines up with the 4 bolt holes already in the floor. Attached...
