    MEP 802A battery drain.

    Agreed, I recently had same issue with one of my 803A's, bad alternator drained batteries in a day or 2. Also used the test light method. just disconnect the wires ( probably start with the wire feeding to the left of the regulator ) and see if the test light goes out. If I recall correctly...
