    Test your aux system every time you test the generator. Even if your sucking fuel out of a jerry can. The aux system is quite nice to have working for a 16hr+ outage.

    The 800 series uses two float switches. One at the top to turn the aux pump off and one at the bottom to start the aux pump. If your set is over filling its the top float. You can reach into the filler hole and feel/see them. Wiggle them around a bit while you feel for the aux pump coming on...
