    Barrman, thanks for the advice. I will try that tonight. just for background I did replace every piece on the back side of the generator (everything that was included with the kit) with the exception of the rear bearing, the capacitor, and the winding (the stationary copper wound piece?)...

    Hey Guys, I just got done rebuilding gen 2 on my truck. The bad news is that the gen 2 light is still lit. I've also noticed that when the engine is cold the voltage is in the middle of the green on the gauge, but as the truck warms up it starts moving too the yellow. does any one have any...
