I'm also running the duratracs! I did go larger (285-75-16) but these are terrific tires. Not terribly noisy on the road, and grip like crazy off road or in the snow!!! Bonus, they last really well, downside, pretty pricey (but worth it!) Eric

Buy a 25' roll of nicopp tubing and a flare tool and do it all! The nicopp will not rust and is easy to work with (both flaring and bending) Eric

Realized it's fixed, but..... Another common issue: When pads are replaced you have to ensure that the pads will slide freely in the grooves(and sliding surfaces clean and greased. Been my experience that low end/cost pads are a little tight while the "1st line"/more expensive pads fit alot...

Definitely recommend the hella assemblies! Personally think the lens optics are much better, and you can than go with better H4's later if desired! I left oe type H4's as the improvement was substantial!

I've got the Duratracs on my 1008, mot a lot of miles so far but they seem good! Fairly aggressive, but also not too much road noise.

Just installed 285 75 16 Duratracs on my 08. Despite some of the tirerack reviews I'm very happy with them! The duratracks are a tad taller (33.1) than most of the 285's (32.8). Heve only had a few minor snowfalls this year, but these tires have excellent grip and ride pretty decent for this...
