    rebuilding MEP802a fuel injectors??

    Any trick to getting the spring and spring cap off? It almost looks like it needs a special tool. I did get the top part off. The pin will not move, it won't budge

    rebuilding MEP802a fuel injectors??

    fuel delivery woes Haven't got it apart yet, but the pin will not move in either direction. I just figured a way of getting that top fitting off, but haven't tried it yet. Previously it would not budge using a vise, vise grip or plumbers wrench. My next effort will be to put a short 1/4 inch...

    rebuilding MEP802a fuel injectors??

    Without having taken out the fuel pumps or having even seen them removed, this sounds awfully tricky. Is this saying that when, for example, the #1 pump is removed that it is possible to re-install that pump so that the delivery rate is different from what it was before it was removed? I can't...

    rebuilding MEP802a fuel injectors??

    I do some of my best thinking when I am asleep. About 3 this morning I came up with the thought that the injectors may not be bad, but that something upstream from them might be akilter. I recall that one of the attaching nuts on the aft cylinder line -- in the pump area(?) was disconnected...

    rebuilding MEP802a fuel injectors??

    I finally got the 802a fired up, or at least it was spinning.. I disconnected wire #6 to the voltage regulator in advance 'cause I figured it would need to crank a while, and I wanted to address getting the engine running and at this point I don't care if it generates any electricity at all. I...

    using advanced search

    Use Google search? I must be missing something; if I try google search I end up with a lot of entries for past auctions intermixed with current. I must be missing something on google

    using advanced search

    I can't seem to make the advanced query work properly. Since it doesn't work when using the advanced search form, has anyone been able to find a way to make it work? Specifically, one can do logical AND searches on keywords, but I can't seem to make it work on logical OR searches.

    10 kw generator mep 803a

    This is in response to a posting a few posts ago... I went to the shop and checked the voltage regulator circuit board on my ~2000 mep 803a unit. The board number is 19583 H. The 2009 board that you have is also a 19583, but I wonder about the detail designation of 'H'. What is the detail...

    10 kw generator mep 803a

    It is easy to take the unit apart. I have mine apart, and I'd attach a picture, but any time I try to do that my computer locks up in the 'manage attachments' screen and I have to remove the battery to get it to shut down. If you do take it apart, note the number on the MOSFETs. Mine is...

    10 kw generator mep 803a

    I don't have the board with me -- I'm going out to the shop later today and I can get the number then. The regulator I have is from around 2000, so I don't know what version it would be. There is, however, a fifth power diode (that is not part of the bridge circuit) and a capacitor that are...

    10 kw generator mep 803a

    I'd love to take a peek at a new-off-the-line voltage regulator to see what and if the vendor did anything about this problem. There is another issue besides this that the vendor needs to address on these regulators and I'd like to see how they dealt with that as well.

    towing am m103a3 trailer with dodge 2500 truck?

    No trick question.... I was just reading that the m103a3 was normally towed behind a 2.5 or 5 ton truck and I was just wonderin' if I was going to cause myself a problem using the Dodge. The 103a3 uses air over hydraulic (I think), so there wouldn't be brakes unless/until I could install some...

    towing am m103a3 trailer with dodge 2500 truck?

    Anyone have any experience towing an m103a3 with a Dodge pickup? It's a 2004 diesel 4x4 heavy duty truck with a six speed manual trans. I'm thinking about buying an m103a3 and I just wonder about how it would handle behind my Dodge. thanks z

    need parts manual for mep804a -- TM-9-6115-643-24P

    First, this manual does not down load from LIBERATED MANUALS. I stopped the download from them at 20Mb since any other manual I got from LM was around 2Mb. I'd contact LM, but there didn't seem to be any contact info. So, if anyone has a copy of TM-9-6115-643-24P that they have downloaded...

    802a starter question

    Flapper - I haven't got to look at it too well yet, but it looks as if the exhaust is threaded. If so, why not put a small extenson pipe vertically and a tractor style flapper on it? I've got a flapper on a Ford 4630 and it works fine.

    Missing Breakaway Lever?

    For whatever reason my computer locks up and I have to remove the battery in order to get it going it again. After four tries I give up. If someone wants the picture send me an e-mail and I'll send you one z

    Missing Breakaway Lever?

    The breakaway lever is the last thing to come out and the first to go in when disassembling or assembling the surge brake unit. Once it is that far apart you may want to look at the shock absorber since you only want to tear it down that far once. Mendenhall Industries is the manufacturer of...

    M116a3 pintle/hydraulic bolt sizes???

    This hitch was made by Mendenhall Industries in Myrtle Beach. I purchased a brand new hitch with the adjustable coupler instead of pintle hitch. That way I can use pintle hitch, or standard ball hitch connections. They were very good to deal with. Total cost including shipping was 332...

    mep803a voltage regulator schematic - anyone got one?

    I have the general schematic and manual for the 803a. However I'm looking for the schematic for that "black box" voltage regulator (A1). I'm thinking that it just might be in some depot maintenance manual or perhaps someone has been able to reverse engineer one.... thanks z
