    First, take a magnet to the oil pan and make sure if it's aluminum or steel, it's not very often you see an aluminum pan. Use a good Teflon paste on all the threaded connections (I would also make sure the threads are clean and grease/oil free). Be careful if the pan is aluminum you don't want...
