For those who would like to know more. Here is what I found. The SS domain expired at around 04:15UTC on the 4th (that's 11:15PM EST). Next year it will do the same thing and before you blame the admin it isn't always under their control. I built DNS servers and setup domains for 12 years...
I cannot duplicate the problem. I had only gone to two websites this morning. I have backtracked and did everything on this system that I did on the other and can't get it to fail. Now I have to do an analysis of the memory image and drive image on the other computer. :-(

I do not believe that is the problem. The site downloaded an infected javascript file to one of my systems and Comodo caught it when I switched to IE. the symptoms are that it looks like a DNS issue but it is actually the redirects. I confirmed by looking in the logs on my systems.
