As for the lights, you will need a set of magnetic ones, due to the power difference and the connection difference. OD Iron, makes and adapter for the trailer, but the lights will be dim.
The towing height should not be much of a difference, since they were designed to be towed being pickups.

Well I went to tried playing in the 19" deep snow with my Dodge Dakota. While trying to clear a path to go to work tonight, it got stuck in my parking lot. We share a parking lot with a church.

That took me a whopping 10 minutes to install.
The bulb I used was #1251. Thanks to the .gov they cut the wire harness running to the trailer plug, and there it is.
