I've seen cargo racks on the back of trucks, vans, etc. that mount through a Reese hitch. Of course the 09 doesn't have a Reese hitch, but if you're capable of fabricating the cargo rack for the Reese hitch, you could probably take care of the Reese hitch issue as well.
