    Fuel line seems to have an air gap.

    This is a very common concern for people. Those usually clear plastic lines between injectors are nothing more than return lines. Any fuel not used by the injector passes along that common line back to the fuel tank. At idle you may see more fuel in there, if you were to see it as the truck...
