Building a custom cab ? The mHET

This is something to consider....the engine in the M915 is a PITA to work on due to the batwing design of the hood. Putting it further under the cab is going to make it a lot worse. If you are going to do a custom job I would consider a tilt cab design to make access to the engine/transmission...

Building a custom cab ? The mHET

Soni's truck rocks....I met him when he came to Redstone to pick up an M820. The truck is an M920 that has been heavily modified.

My new Deuce got car jacked

That's what happens when you leave a nice truck in the "hood".....some old fat guy in a red suit jacks it and uses it to deliver toys to all the good boys and girls.

Citrus oil as fuel in 6.2

Is it citrus scented lamp oil (petroleum based) or is it oil made as a by product of making juice from citrus fruit? To be useful as fuel it has to have BTU value and be capable of being atomized into a flammable state.

    Help plz stuck in byron

You have two problems....the front axle is high sided by the mud so the tires have little or no traction, then you have the resistance of the mud that the truck is stuck in to overcome. You are either going to need brute force to overcome both problems such as a big tractor or dozer or you are...

    M916-M920 Tech & Tips

14 tires (new) will be expensive...prob at least 300 a pop. The winch cable may or may not be cheap depending on if you can find a servicable used one. You could single it out with HEMMT tires and rims but since you are out west they may be hard to find out there. It is a semi-auto...

Why do so deuces start in the cold and so don't

All trucks have a soul and a "Critical Need Detector".......the more you need it to start the less likely it is to start. They also have a "Financial Status Evaluation System"....if you are flat broke they will run like a sewing machine.....get a few bucks ahead and something will need...

The new M190 Shop Sales Trailer & Camper

I pulled mine home with my M275 deuce tractor (80 mile trip).....the small multi-fuel just doesn't have the umph to pull it on anything except flat ground. I think a bobber with big tires and the LDS engine might be a good prime mover but it would still be slow. The M915 don't even know it's...

    Bed crane designs...

Maybe like this: 407L Loading System The purpose of the 407L loading system is to permit loading and unloading of most types of pallets or shelters by three people, operating mechanical hoists in the absence of any powered equipment. The size of the pallet shelter is limited only by the...

    Marine trucks?

If you see what appears to be two big paper clips welded to the front bumper of a deuce or five ton you may have a Marine truck. The were put there to make it easier to sling load them onto ships.

    Bobbed Wrecker concept

I had the same idea (great minds think alike). I been kicking myself since I got rid of my bobber and my wrecker. That would solve both my cravings. There is a small Holms twin boom close to me for 750 bucks....but I ain't telling where.

    Rusty crusty wrecker recovery

A lot of those wreckers have serious issues and have been sitting a long time.....unless you go down and preview I would be very careful about jumping on one of them. Scrap value is around 3600 but I have intell that some of them sold for a lot less on the last closed bid sale.
