    Thanks Paper, If I can find a water pump I'll go ahead and change it just in case. It would suck to get her back together and then have to do it all over.

    I don't have the TM yet...the engine is out of the truck and it is a lot easier to do all this now before we drop it back in. Maybe I can download it if I can find the info ( I am old and puter deficient)

    Whiile we're on the subject of the 250 Cummins...how do you install the belt that goes from the big pulley to the water pump.......no way to adjust or get the pulleys closer together to slip the belt on...this is making me :cookoo: aua I took the pulley off the water pump using a pulley...
