    Hmmwv firing order

    Folks, can anyone who has worked on these trucks before verify the firing order for a 6.5 turbo? Should be the same as a regular Detroit/GM 6.5, no? Everything I’m seeing suggests 1,8,7,2,6,5,4,3, and the order on the pump as shown.

    I tried that without much success. The 400 amp alternator makes it impossible to reach cylinders 1 and 3 without removing it.
