M1009 Hard Shifting tranny, first post

Did you ever replace the rubber block? Mine seems to be cracked and I was wondering if I could bypass it. I can't find a replacement part for it either. Edit: It wasn't really cracked, just starting to so I coated the exterior with Gorilla Glue, the real problem was a 4 inch crack on both sides...

    Rapid Voltage Drop while Idling

I was about to do that until I accidentally stumbled upon an temporary fix that also makes me believe the whole problem has been belts. I replaced one of the belts that was loose, my dad who has much more experience than me thought the others were tight and not worn enough to bother replacing at...

    Rapid Voltage Drop while Idling

Edit: My thought is that the front battery has gone bad in a way that it charges slower than the car is drawing, so it slowly runs down, but then once it finally recharges fully it tests well. I don't understand electronics well enough to know if the alternators can bypass the battery to power...

    Rapid Voltage Drop while Idling

The drivers side alternator had the loose belt and I believe thats the one that charges the front battery. Anyways I just realized a PO bypassed the pulley on the bottom of the engine and so when I went to autozone with belt part numbers we saw a huge difference in size and tried to find...

    Rapid Voltage Drop while Idling

Last night while showing the new truck/stereo to some friends, I noticed the voltage meter dropping rapidly and suddenly from about halfway to almost nothing. The stereo cut off and the lights became very dim. Today I hooked up a portable jumper to the front battery and it jumped off, would...

Headlights not working, all others are.

We didn't have time to test all this out so my father and I put the headlights on a separate switch, and now the interior lights are acting up. I'm leaning towards the light switch too, I'll have to test the connections when I get home from the beach. If its not that ill check the dimmer...

Headlights not working, all others are.

My headlights are not working, I have replaced the fuse, no power is getting to the bulbs, but there is power at the fuse box. The rear lights, marker lights, ect. all work fine. My electrical knowledge is limited, what should I check next?
