    I will look once more but I am leaning toward the idea that my frame is in fact not stamped. Especially if the digits are 1/2" tall. Thanks superman.

    Sorry about the orientation. Any idea where the vin is supposed to be on the 923a2? There were no other stamps behind the steering box

    I also have a 1990 m923a2 numbers behind steering box do not match data plate. Truck has 3600 miles and from what I can tell shows no signs of body off work or repaint. Truck is in great condition and I purchased from GL out of Southern Nevada.
