Hi all -
Looking to possibly buy a used M101 - probably an A2 to build as a utility hauler/camping trailer. Plans include a custom lid that both holds a rooftop tent and hinges so half of the trailer can be accessed with the tent on. Down the road I'd like to put a removable slide out camp...
FJ Cruiser and I am building a box for the top of the trailer with a pull out kitchen, water tank, cargo area, and an RTT on top so a good deal of weight is being added. For off-roading I would like the back up of electric brakes. Hopefully that clarifies some things.
I'd like an openable set of these three pics, can you reload then so I can open them larger. Interested in the folding stair design, but image too small to see details. Thanks. :D
The porta potti was designed by a distant cousin of mine, Frank Sargent who got tired of a Airstream camper with"no place to go, shall we say". Wonder what he would think of a Deuce Camper?? You are making good progress.
I saw this truck back porch from some site. I like the design...
55 mph is pretty much 1700 rpm - Owning a HET also and driving a lot of other slow vehicles, 55 mph is just fine to me. When I first got the Allison M916, I thought it was so cool that it'd run 75 mph, but now I mostly enjoy that it'll do 55-60 mph at lower rpms. 55 is nice in that it makes a...
Tough trailer to find-good job in getting one to pull with the M916. How well does the winch set up work in lifting the trailer up and locking it into the 5th wheel? Always see lots of dents in the approach ramps on the tractors.
You indicated a 55mph cruising speed in driving out bobtailed...
Actually, it's mainly an upgrade of the German WWII kitchentrailer. Our MKT was an odd duck, built to feed 250-300 troops, when most companies are 125-150 troops and battalions are 500-600. It's true that they used two MKT's together for a battalion, but then they developed the CK...
To all MKT Owners,
Bringing the following hard to get KitchenTrailer items to sell. NOS MBU Slave cables, NOS 2 Wire Harnesses, NOS 4 Wire Harnesses, Take out 2 and 4 Wire Harnesses, as well as 1 25 ft. MBU Extension Cable(not easily found item). Nice take out splash shield sets for 2 and...
Glad you like 61sleepercab. Thanks. Yes, I now have the toughest and sorest thumb in the east. Oil sample a good idea, was thinking about JB Welding a reinforcement plate near cylinder #6 just in case. :) I keep the revs down and don't lug it either. Hoping for the best. I have purchased...
Good looking Winabago35 ,You were brave to rattle can a Deuce.I bet you are local tiddley winks champion/ thumb wrestler king of the neighborhood. My friend painted a whole 1930's car with a trombone type fly sprayer ,pumping, pumping away for hours. I have "Sandy the 5 ton" in sand tan and I...

Hello all,
Wanted to share a very special event with all of you. Two of my very dear friends, Steve and Anna Rudowsky were married this morning in Hasbrook Heights, NJ. For those of you who do not know them, they are upstanding troops. And I have the privilege...
I just tried to buy the adaptor and I can't get it to open the cart to pay for it.
I appreciate everyone's concern for my safety however I have a appreciation for flammable material as I am a nationally Certified Firefighter with 20 years this month on a Class 4 volunteer department. When we...
OK, before we go any further, I’d like to show where we came from and what you can look forward to. If you’ve never been to a SSGR event, I’d like you to take a few minutes to browse through the post-rally multimedia threads from years past:
