Great! thanks! Okay, so this is what I've gathered so far... Headers need to be swapped - Easy swap - RTV or gaskets? What brand? Oil filter needs to be changed from horizontal to vertical - Looks like it will be easy 24v Fuel shutoff solenoid swapped for 12v solenoid - easy swap it looks... -

My mistake before, I wasn't thinking straight. The engine I am putting in is a HMMWV Engine, not a CUCV engine.... What is the easiest/ best way to get 2 inches of lift? will add-a-leafs do it??? So the HMMWV exhaust manifolds will just not fit or?? -

After working on it today, we were able to get the old 6.2 out and do a side by side comparison of the two. Your guys comments are great! thank you! Everything is making more sense now... The 6.2 that is going IN IS a HMMWV takeout. So the IP cutoff will be 24v on the HMMWV, not 12v? How do I... -

That's the plan! Although I'm not 100% what all it entails... It doesn't appear to be very much though. The flywheel appears to be slightly warped (bent crank shaft?) and its causing the starter solenoid to stick out when turning over. -
