Over filling the crankcase should not have done any permanent damage to the engine. It would just try and push it out the slobber tube. I would clean the engine good correct the oil level and take it for a run to burn off any residual oil and see how it runs.
He said that he found the intake valve at .040 when he initially set it at .010. That indicates to me that the intake valve is not fully seating there for low compression. A compression check is the next thing then probably pull the head back off...
This will be my first rally. I have only had my M35A2 for about a year now. I spent the last month getting it ready. I serviced rage the brakes, wheel bearing, new boots, and new 11.00 NDCC tires. I will be traveling with Sandcobra so I am prepared and look forward to a nice trip. Thanks for all...
I just replaced mine if it has a plug on the side at the rear that has to be removed so it will fit in the hole on the cross member. Some master cylinders have them some don't. My new replacement didn't have that but the original did. It comes our fairly easy then.
Ok not trying to hijack this but what pressure do folks run in 11.00 ndcc on a deuce with dual rears? I have seen any where from 50-90 psi so I am confused. I am mounting them now so I would like an opinion. Thanks.

Peashooter will still make flex lines but only by request. He told me supplier was unreliable on delivery and he had to refund money because of delay. I just bought a set recently and got them in about a week. They looked great so if you need some give him a shout I think he will help you out he...
Gimp,
How does the yarn style filters compare to the NAPA ones people are using? I bought a set of the yarn ones and they look to be high quality pieces. Please let me know your opinion...
I will be replacing my injectors on my M35A2 truck in the near future. I have several sets available I can use. I have the older style shim adjustable 2 hole units AKF 130S 6614A and the later AKN 130SM 6844 B2 ones. The AKF ones are brand new Bosch units and they pop test at 2750 PSI. The AKN...
Ok I was in the process of replacing all the hoses and belts on my M35A2. All was going well and I was able to replace the water manifold hoses and the oil cooler ones without much issue. I went to replace the lower hose and man what a pain. I had removed the generator belts and rotated it out...
I am think of fabricating a remote reservoir for M35A2 brake system and probably mounting it in the cab. I also would have it so I could pressurize it and use for a power bleeder. I am looking for input and any issues with this idea. I own a fab shop so building one is no issue just not sure how...
I didn't believe the price so I went and looked sure enough $6.82. I bought the last 6 at that price. I am not sure what I will do with them but at that price there is little to lose.
He had a crate full of those pendants. They are $150 each made by Cortland Cable Co part number 7395. They are 50' in length and 1.1" diameter weigh only 25 lbs. Jessie Bostick has them. They look to me to be for pulling only I would not wrap them around anything the outer sheath is a...
