bridge truck
I remember looking at them in the past. It seems to me as if I recall they were too wide to be on the road or something like that. I think thye have bigger tires/wheels too don't they?
Derek
I think I understand how most of it works, but I don't know what the big round tube on the rear of the bed is for? Does it spin so that you can pull stuff up onto the bed?
then it got worse
As I was all excited about my new toy, I got to looking around at others. I accidentally bought this one today. I literally just couldn't pass up the deal I got in it.
Check out the awesome bed it has on it. It is clean and open so you can use it for regular hauling, may...
I picked up this nice old 1951 Ford F-8 Big Job a few weeks ago, with the intent of taking the cab off and mounting it on a Deuce chassis. Then I could have the reliable diesel engine (whistler of course) and 4WD of a Deuce and the classic body of this thing. I plan to bob the rear down to one...
Just a thought, but you could consider getting Jeepsinker to bring it up to my place near Chattanooga and then Gimpy to bring it from my place up to you. They both need to come back for more.
Derek
I'm glad everyone made it home safely. Thanks for all your work bringing stuff down to my place, just wish you could've stayed a spell and visited more. I took off after church yesterday and am between Little Rock and Fort Smith Arkansas on my way to Fort Sill, OK to pick up another big pile...
They will only be open Monday and Tuesday of this week. I really need to try to get it done by then. Once the goods are off the base, time is not as critical. There are several different options. Someone could just go in and secure, box, strap, reorganize them onsite and then I could...
I am in desperate need of help here on this. OKC cannot help me on this, although they do a lot of OKC stuff for me. If I could get someone to pick it up at Fort Sill and take it to OKC Services that would work too. Did
I mention I will be happy to compensate for this???
Derek
Gimp, I am probably going to want you to bring down the M818 your friend has. If you could work out a way to get Garrett to bring up the wrecker from MS on his trip, then you could drive it back and get paid both ways. I am looking at a bunch of stuff in Fort Polk this week and next and was...
I just realized that the Hummer motor I got was at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, not Mechanicsburg, PA. Got too much going on. Is there anyone near there that could pick it up and bring it to the Ga rally or who would be interested in buying it? I would take $200 for it if you picked it up.
Derek
I would buy a bunch of used 900R20 tires/wheels if they were dirt cheap. They don't have to be super nice. I have a customer that runs a rock quarry and they are all the time going through them.
I am also interested in a S280 shelter cheap.
Cheap is my middle name:)
Derek
I have a bunch of H-45 tent heaters, $60 each including tripod and stove pipe, brand new, some rust from sitting outside, but once you use them they are going to rust up anyway.
I also have immersion water heaters, $45 used. $60 new in crate.
I have a nice pair of fenders for an 800 series...
The hole in the back of the body is a different size than the four corner holes and the front jack hole. It is exactly the size of a receiver tube. I guess you're right about it not having wiring back there for it, although I imagine it would be pretty easy to rig something up or splice it in...
M105A3 trailer
Yet another trailer I could bring if desired.
A super clean M105A3, I just put it on E-Bay for $1200, but will let it go to a SS member for $850.
Did anyone notice the unusual trailer in the background of one of my pics? I didn't mean to catch it, but got it in the...
aluminum box trailer
I have one of these rare birds left. It has an all aluminum double walled body with a walk in door in the rear, a fold out counter table on the drivers side and a small escape hatch on the passengers side. It is pre-wired for 12v lights using the round 7 blade heavy...
