I have a 67 2.5 ton that I bought last summer and noticed in the snow that the front tires do not spin when I get stuck. I do not think there is an air lock axel in the front. Any ideas what the problem could be?

I recently changed out all the fuel filters on my 1967 M35A2 after I did this the truck is hard to start and when I turn the fuel pump off the engine rpms start to drop and then quits. Before I did the filter change I could turn the fuel pump off and it would stay running. I did purge the air...
