jeepsguy,
This truck loves an additive called "MultiLube". It's in no way related to anything in the Deuce world but an additive that helps restore the lubricity to diesel fuel thanks the the ULSD diesel that we have to run. I've confirmed that the truck does not in any way like "untreated"...
Took it on the 180 mile one way trip to Durhamtown and back. No issues. Took it up "Slippery Nipple" on some steep hills that have made many other trucks back down and still no issues. Thanks to USMC for wanting lockers in both axles, this truck took the family up some of the worst stuff you...
CSM Davis, USMC trucks may have lockers but they never adopted A2 series 5 tons and therefore none of them have CTIS. They did convert some to A1 status with the 14.00's.
See ya'll tomorrow! Bringing two trucks this year and we'll camp behind PB's setup. Add 1 M35A2 and 1 M1028 if murphy stays in the treeline and let's us come up without issue!!!
I see that you've been called out a few times already so no need to do that. I'm about to burn about $500 worth of diesel to bring two trucks up and back. I planned on burning $1,000 so anything less than that is "gravy". I also planned on bringing a 42 year old truck to this event and have...
Chaplin,
As requested, Tropical Storm Karen so far is turning West but in preparation for her, we have dumped 2 warehouses worth of gear onto open storage on the off chance that we will have to house around 4,000 folks from NAS Pensacola. I don't think Karen will be a real factor but If I...
PB might have some pics of Ron sitting. When "Crane Thingy" spit a lock ring and tire on the side of the road 2 years ago, Ron stood around and watched as Atomic and I put the spare one on. PB may have some pics of him with his arms crossed and spewing about how the tires should have been...
Adam,
I'll be there on Friday night if things don't clear up before then. I appreciate your kind words and you know that I'll do what's right for my family. I'd like to stick to my plans as you are but I'm in a single income household and skipping work would be a NO GO at the moment...
I may still be able to see some folks. I may drive up in a regular car Friday evening or Saturday morning depending on work and rest. I may also be able to get my trucks there earlier in the week. I can't promise anyone anything at this moment due to uncertainty on Capitol Hill but I'll be...
I'm likely out for this event. I'm caught up in a government shutdown and won't get paid if I take leave. The boss has ruled that I will go to work and wait for an IOU. If I take a day off or 3, it will be charged KE which mean's Furloughed. I'll go to work instead.
Well AMGeneral, that stinks. I'd like to see everyone make it to this get together and I love seeing a ton of trucks and owner's having fun on the trails. I may have to point out to Clinto that we may have peaked for the moment on truck count last year. The fiscal uncertainties for many...
Rather than start a new thread, I'm going to thank all of ya'll for contributing to my new play toy. A little background up front, I'm still in the military. I just received a brand new M1089A1P2 wrecker straight from Oshkosh. It has 2 things I like and 1 thing I don't like. The 2 positives...
If Squirt reads this, Atomic and I will make it up there Wednesday afternoon shortly after lunch with at least one chainsaw and some guys ready to work. We have gloves and safety glasses so we'll join the working party. It'll make the beer taste better when we get done!!!

I'm interested in Kids size's if possible. I know Wreckerman did some kids' "S"'s last year and if available, add 2 of those. I can send payment ahead of time
I'm still trying to figure out what to bring. I've done 1 year M35A2, 1 year M1028, 1 year M35A2 and this year I've got a ride for the M1028 but my boys want "Big Trucks" on the trail's again. The only way I get a ride for the M1028 is to drive "Proud American" and "Sarge" can ride the...
