    EUC Approval

They're all over the place with approval times. For some its been as short as 3-4 weeks, and others have been 12-16 weeks. Think of it this way, it makes picking it up that much more exciting!

    H1's are back, kinda sorta

You were just itching to come into the HMMWV section and post this, weren't you?

What's the correct type of bolt

Grade 8 bolts aren't much more than grade 5, so I usually use 8's on everything.

steering wheel cover? anyone use one?

That paracord looks great! I usually wrap my wheels with those old school wraps. They looks like leather with perforated holes in it, and then you wrap a plastic cord around it.

    Canadian 5/4's hanging out

If it's not too much of a hassle, that be great!

    LS Engine Swap, why?

An LS compared to a Duramax or Cummins is a no brainer when it comes to power & torque, but they're completely different animals. I can do an 6.0 LQ4 swap for under $2,000 all in. You'll be well over that with a Cummins, and wayyyy over that with a Duramax. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a...

    Canadian 5/4's hanging out

Sweet! I love round eye square bodies! I just completed a restoration on my 73 K10 and have been looking for a paint scheme. These Canadian trucks sure do look good!

    Just some interesting variants

I like the doors on the first one. They sure do some funky things to these trucks over there!

    LS Engine Swap, why?

The 6.2/6.5 is a slug, even in a soft top soft door Humvee. I hardly call swapping in a higher HP and TQ engine crippling.

Hello From Ireland - M1044 Owner

Nice truck! You're very lucky to start off with something that already has a slant back roof, hard doors, and a fording kit. I always wanted to visit Ireland. Some of my ancestors came from over there.

    My New Humvee tachometer installed

I like the tach there. I don't like having to look up to see gauges. Looks like a nice, clean install!

Hmmwv 6.5l purchased, turns out to be a 6.2l

It wouldn't bother me that it's a 6.2, but I'd be pissed that they claimed it was a 6.5 and it turns out they lied.

    You should be fine.

Don't let these guys give you a hard time, you have a beautiful truck! They don't all need to be restored back to military condition. I personally like how it was prettied up. It lived its life serving the US Military, and now it gets to enjoy retirement looking better than it ever has...

    Brake Light Issue

That's where I would start. Bad grounds cause some really weird things to happen.

Any HMMWV owners in nh/ma areas

Salisbury? I'm one town over! I never see HMMWV's or H1's around here. That's so cool just knowing there's one roaming around locally.
