Pretty sure you need an LDS motor. As for towing, if they use the correct bar you won't need brakes on your truck. Just make sure it is a competent towing company with experience towing big trucks. They tow my 818 with a 60-ton wrecker and i'm guessing he could have run down the road at 70Mph...

Not much out there that will out pull an MV? Ever been to a pull with 4x4 turbo diesel pickups. They easily out pull an MV. A few of us went to a pull last year and all had 5-tons. Every diesel pickup out pulled the 5-tons except for one that broke and another didn't make it more than a few...

Sorry about your luck but I have had an engine decide it was better to be in pieces than stay together. Like Gimp said, find a motor and pull the engine pack out, swap the engine and either put the pack back together or put the engine in by itself and add the rest. Lots of help on the site.

I believe you meant to say they blow up (crack the case) in reverse low when under a load. Just putting the truck in reverse low and backing around the yard won't blow it up. But it never hurts to be safe.

It will need a star flag for the front left corner and a US flag for the right (slightly higher than the left flag). :-)

I went through this with GL. Paid sales tax on the truck when I bought it. Walked into the BMV and they calculated the tax already paid to GL and it covered the state tax they wanted. Zero went to the state and I kinda think they get screwed by GL, not me.
