Mike, cant imagine the patience and skill it takes to do what you are doin. Have you thought about silfloss solder? Too big? Sometimes the big break through is on the next attempt. Thanks for sharing.
God bless

Wasn't that type of camo done before the "digital" style? What was the type of painting name? Pointalism I believe. When they painted entire picture with colored dots, not brush strokes? You're moving right along Commander! You'd never cut it in the "couch tater" brigade. Lol

Another name to the list, dropped you a PM last night. Hope you aren't getting "overwhelmed" by the response to your offer! LOL We tend to like tools around here, especially ones that fit the green iron addiction, so I'd take both sizes also. Let us know what you are charging and shipping...
Thanks for the update and ENJOY the adventure!! Not many can say they have done, what we Steelsoldiers, routinely do, drive military vehicles for TONS of miles!! Stay safe and "rubber side down, painted side don't steer worth a darn!"
God bless,
Tony
"One foot in front of the other!" How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Ya got her moving in the right direction PB. Like many have said, it's not a race, it's an adventure to be shared and enjoyed!!! Don't know if you will EVER "KNOW" her past without serial numbers and data...
Welcome aboard from central Illinois. To prove we are an equal opportunity forum, some here do not consume beer. Tons of info and some darn good people here!

Alrighty then! Another Commander Z special rebuild thread. Eagerly awaiting the wondrous and fantastic to take place. "This is goin to be good!"
God bless,
Tony
Sure was nice of Commander Z to crate her up for you, especially seeing how he has stated numerous times how much he hates wood, working with wood, and all things associated with it! Just think, a personalized portable, custom built garage for the K!!
Hope all have a day to remember! Your...
Bummer about the "Life" magazine not having ANYTHING about the projects in it!! I'd still make sure it went with the vehicle though, same time frame, and I imagine the pages are glossy so not good for other things.
God bless,
Tony
Best camo ever! Blends right in with the green of the post. But honestly, which of us has NOT seen an M1070?
God bless
Tony
PS Congrats on your trk and recovery!
Wow! Congrats WM! Definitely doesn't seem to be a "beater". They are handy. Remember, don't put ANYTHING in the back that will impair your ability to get to the tail gate latch!! from the INSIDE! (yep, been there, done that.)
God bless,
Tony
Congrats on your truck and even more on spending some quality time with your son!! They tend to go together, if we let them. Hope ya have tons of adventures with them both!!
God bless,
Tony
There are some true "crane" truck wizards here on S.S. Have to agree, pics would make a world of difference. Never have owned a wrecker, but have heard that they are very useful and can be a "money pit". So, both sides of the coin represented. Hope that it works out for ya and WELCOME to the...
