M1008 problems. I did some research here on SS about ball joints and kingpins. I know

A full floater. You have 3/4 axles in there. The good thing is you will probably get more top speed and less rpm.

You could just replace them but personally I would not even put 5 dollars into a set of non 1 tons. (thats just me) Im hard on everything. If you look at the rear end does something stick out like 3" in the center of the rim? (has bolts)

Sounds like some one made a 3/4 ton and robbed the axles. Easiest way is count the u bolts if you are unsure.

    Radiator Swapability

You need to buy dually hubs for the front. Just unbolt everything like your doing a brake job and put on the DRW hubs then reassemble.

    Radiator Swapability

radiators are the same. The easiest way to convert to dually is to switch out you hubs. If you want to trade SRW for DRW let me know.

    Cucv electrical meltdown

I did the same thing to my truck. I could not tell if my starter was 12v or 24v. It happened to be 12v. I hooked up 24v to a 12v starter and I had to run and rip off the battery connection. If I were you this is what I would do. leave it 24v. Find a OEM starter and have it rebuilt. Replace/...

    Gear/transfer-swap.

Try it . If it works great, but if it doesn't that would be a pain to do it twice.

    Gear/transfer-swap.

I think you need a new flex plate gas job and a new torque converter. That's what I had to do. My friend at the tranny place told me they arnt interchanageable
