I drove mine with the loop bypassed for 8 plus years. It all depends on how much you drive it and for how long. If it's low on fluid now I'd crawl under it and bypass it before adding any fluid.

I think you mean 2 pin connector. And it will only go together one way or actually in one position since it's keyed to only go together one way.

sure your new batteries fully charged. All the grounds good and tight. You disconnected batteries before changing out ESS? All the connections tight? You change out box with same kind you removed?

Have you checked all your glow plugs perhaps you have a few bad ones. What have you done to it since you bought it.
