Thank you. To do a simple check on the gauge itself can I provide 24 volt to the ignition and ground and then ground the sender through a test light? My gauge is reading full all the time wether it has power or not. And truck is A0.

If you are not going to use it for personal gain (which is quite alright) might you post your idea? I thought on the same issue but these things are electrically monitored beyond useful as it is in my opinion.

I don't have the year on the truck by me. Thanks for answering. I went to the Operators Manual and they did mention shifting the MODE switch but weren't clear as to what happens. So the center diff locks or the transfer case? If you have only 2 axles front and rear then what locks?
