I say 24 volt gr starter is the way to go. I like the 24 for turning that big diesel, and the gear reduction seems to make it that much better. Also much easier to change. The gr starter is so much lighter that the DD starter. I change mine laying on my back so. Just my 1/50th of a dollar.
