Hey, you know what helps here......a little of that copper head gasket sealer. Go to autozone and look in the RTV section for a little bottle of "copper head gasket sealer". It's in a small bottle with a brush on the lid. Just dab a little on the cone side and put her together. Really works...
I have heard bad stuff about Mortar investments on some things. Recently a dude across the pond bought a new V-12 for his T-55 and it was delivered on time so that is some good news. They may only be reliable with things they have on hand and not those items they have on consignment.
Either...
Nah I have friends there that are amazingly patient enough to scan whole books in for me lol :-D
I want to see what all they have in the line of english export manuals for the 813 and whatever Tatra813 doesn't have already I'll get for y'all.
If you get that be damn sure you buy the one with the best condition suspension, transaxles, and steering boxes.
If they claim them to be running and ready to drive then have them take a video of the unit running and making turns. Also have a video made of it steering while parked. You want to...
Well I'm not sure if you'd call my location southwestern LA or not but if you are passing nearabouts or through the Rayne, Church Point, Eunice, Crowley area and have mechanical trouble or run out of time and need a place to store your stuff then give me a holler.
I have 30 acres of free...
I think I am going to order a full set of english manuals for the T813 next go round at the STK in Prague. If there is a piece of czech military equipment made that was exported they will have a copy of the manual.
That would actually work, just do one at a time. :)
You know what else does a good job too? Electrolysis.
I think we have several topics covering this on this forum. Do a search for "electrolysis" and you should find them. Also below is a link describing the process, all you need is a battery...
You know.......I wonder what the deal is with fuel tanks in these vehicles??? It seems like the number one cause of trouble if found in the fuel tanks.
Mine were terrible too from the bottom to 2 inches up, in fact some parts you could take an ice pick and punch through it. What I did...
Check your U-bolts on the axle, check to see if there is any slop in the driveshaft U-joints and the input yoke on the axle, also check your spring hangers. Loose bolts on these will cause the whole axle and spring assemble to shift back and forth.
HOLY CRAP,,,that sucks :( Will they let you buy the remaining hulk? Is there enogh small parts even left to make it worth it?
You know we have guys like that over here too. Up in north Louisiana where my camp is on toledo bend lake there is a guy who runs pretty good size chicken farm and he...
Hey, you see that stuff in that last picture just behind my seat.....the silver bottle of Diesel Kleen.
Dude thats some wicked stuff and if you think your IP needs to be cleaned then pour you some of that in the tank. Let me just tell you this bubba, when you crank it, get out of the caband walk...
