Since I am not a member of the club and the gentleman was clearly asking for input and suggesting some thoughts that he had had I do not think it is my place to comment

Many thanks to those that did come out! It was my first time and I almost did not come due to the forecast. I had parts to deliver and made the trip. . I'm glad I did, I got to meet several folks I have only talked to on line and I scored some parts I have needed.I also donated to the club...
I'm planning on going up. I t will be my first year. I have always been too busy and made the decision this year to go anyway. Work will be there when I get back.
I have a bunch of M37 body parts I can bring if someone is interested. Will there be a thread to post parts in? I don't have enough...
I have several pole kits and could send some down with Mike. Most of mine at the newer ones with the round net support. I've been asking $68 pet set ( 6 poles and bag) Make me an offer.
We get together for several events each year so there will be more opportunities. Our next event will be a holiday parade in VB.
I post here and have an email list if you send me your info Ill put you on the update list. https://www.facebook.com/groups/197202466977663/
Welcome to the group. Come out to Virginia Beach On Veterans day and join us for the parade. I see the M38 is disassembled but you can ride with us and meet the crew. There are several of us in the area. I have 3 or 4 on your side of the water that could be a good resource while you rebuild.

Pulling out lots of wire and cables from a S-737 Communications shelter. Before I get rid of these I'm checking to see if they have value to anyone here. Still taking stuff out. Let me know if you can use it.
I'm working on a similar project. One of my thoughts is to add stabilizers to the frame. In addition to the narrow width the suspension has a lot of movement in it. I have a second set of tires I plan to try once I get some proper deuce lug nuts. I am also considering 395s since I am not worried...
Towed the trailer to a friends to do some welding.
A bit concerned about the unit being top heavy. May look into running 2 tires on each side for more stability.
Going to wait though to make sure its not just because its only held on with DOT straps.
Worked on lifting the shelter higher to roll the frame under it. I was almost done when the heavens decided to unload!. No thunder so I kept working. Finished the lift about the time it stopped raining.
Need some fab work to mount the shelter. If any one has done this before I'm open to ideas.
Once I get a replacement I will let you know.
I may try and fab something so I can gain room up front.[
QUOTE=M37Dodge;1891825]If you upgrade to the crank up landing wheel setup, I could use your single wheel - if unbent, to replace mine. The dent in the o.d. is ok.
