    Hello from Oklahoma

Got the wheels all put back together. Now I just need to do the brake adjustments, put the wheels back on and fill the differentials. I did find I’m missing the inspection window covers on a couple of my drums. I’d like to either find em or fabricate a couple. Can’t be too hard since it’s just a...

    Weight of Deuce parts

I pulled my drums off today and they weigh more than 40 pounds. I can carry 50lb sacks of feed like they’re nothing and these things weigh at least 80 pounds and it feels closer to 100. Not saying anyone is wrong but they feel a LOT heavier than 40lbs

    Hello from Oklahoma

Got a lot done today. I pulled all of the duals off and got all of the wheel cylinders installed. I thought I’d need a wheel dolly but I didn’t end up needing one. Also thank God for my paved driveway. I still need to go pick up bearing grease, rtv (hopeful I can find the kind that doesn’t break...

    Hello from Oklahoma

I may do that if I need another set. With what’s on the truck, the rebuild kits I have on hand I should be good for awhile. I imagine they’d have been less expensive than Tempe ones at big mikes lol. I planned on rebuilding all of them, but when I took the first one off there was a lot of...

    Hello from Oklahoma

Question for anyone who has purchased new wheel cylinders from Big Mike’s. Are these new ones ready to install as they are or do I need to put the cork/rtv in them? If so where exactly do I do that. I’ve not done wheel cylinders before. I tried to call Big Mike’s as I’m in the middle of the job...

    Hello from Oklahoma

Did the spin on oil filter adapter mod today. I went to start pulling wheels of and realized I can’t find my 1.5” impact socket. I also need to find the correct seal driver which I can’t find the size in the tm yet. i liked these so much i cant wait to do the fuel filters.

    Hello from Oklahoma

The sleeping giantess hibernates while awaiting warmer weather so she can get her oil change, spin on filter mod, wheel service, brake cylinder replacements, and paint job! All the parts are just about in and just need a week of decent weather.

    Hello from Oklahoma

I also wish I could get a set of paper TM’s for this thing. I just can’t seem to keep my train of thought with these digital ones.

    Hello from Oklahoma

I hope yall are having a happy new year. Well I just dropped a buttload of cash (for me). I have 4 wheel cylinders, a brake line kit, 383 aint, a spin on oil filter kit, front and rear wheel seal kits, and a retaining nut socket coming. The cold caused the rings to crack on the old oil filter...

    M35A2 Generator

hmm the ones we had on active duty as soon as 2012 had them riveted on. I had to drill out 4 rivets on one of the plates inside the cab because I was going to put the plug there. It IS very strange. It’s hard to figure out what I have. Almost feels like a Frankenstein’s monster truck. It’s also...

    M35A2 Generator

Do you think something like this would work? It has a lot of good reviews and puts out plenty of amperage...

    M35A2 Generator

Yeah I’m not questioning the engine data plate. It’s the one inside the cab on the dash. That’s the one that doesn’t make sense.

    M35A2 Generator

I also found this data plate on the engine. I’ve never seen something like this on MVs. Anyone have any experience with this company? I’m gearing up for winter projects and trying to find out the most info as I can. Also trying to find one of those one wire alternators to fabricate onto this...

    M35A2 Generator

I have a quick question for you. In this post you said it was an A3. All the paperwork I have on it says A2. I wonder if the data plates were swapped out. These are screwed in and not riveted. Even the title says A2. Where else could I look for identifying information that is more reliable than...
