I bought a MEP 531a for $150. Installed some new fuel lines and it runs like a champ. It's only 2kw but it can be hard wired and has electric slave starting plus a full set of gauges. Now to build an ASK for it.
They really fubared the drive shaft! I hate it when someone takes a torch to remove parts. What about the PTO and cab linkage? Did you get those? That driveshaft is a good $120. They're on eBay. They sure cut close on those extensions.
You better reread his first post carefully! Pushing him will get you nowhere fast and with the mistakes in your post I bet you get nothing!
Just follow his instructions and be patient.
Dual brakes we can assume from the light? Check the switch at the parking brake handle to make sure it is not stuck.
Edit: just noticed this was in the 5 ton forum, doh!
Never mind, I know nothing!
Are you logging out every time? I only get that ad after I have logged out, or I log in on a strange computer. I just close the browser when I'm done.
Speaking of privacy, remember when everyone's phone number, name and address was in the phone book? I bet Ron's is in there still!
Don't knock it till you've tried it. It gives you what you want to see from the forum without all the extra stuff you don't need to see. I use it all the time.
I would give it a try and if you don't like it and least you'll know.
I just saw a beautiful deuce heading north on SR39 at he Polk/Pasco county line. I think it may have been AlanB. Not sure. See y'all tomorrow! Bringing the 1009.
Just remember that the newer style air packs don't have a j pipe. You must remove the pipe completely and install a fitting into the back of the air chamber. Ask me how I know!
There is a bunch of us going to Belleview on Saturday. That's not to far I don't think. I'll look at the map. Maybe someone is coming from that direction.
*edit* Looks like it is an hour and 15 min from Belleview. Maybe someone coming south can check it out.
Screen shot off of my phone of the 34TM. Sure looks like a "no-spin". The description of all the CUCV's except the 1009 list a no-spin. We all know who built them. Eaton. A locker by any other name is still a locker.
Some of the truck CUCV's did come with a limited slip in the front.
