I towed my M1008 back from Fort Gordon, GA to Blacksburg, VA with a F-350 diesel and a 18ft dual axle trailer. Make sure you have a jack other than the truck's, a tire iron, tools and a comealong and at least 1 extra trailer tire. However I always take 2 extra tires.

You know I bet if someone were to make 2 basic conversion plugs (Civi to Mil & Mil to Civi) they could sell however many they made. I'd buy 2 right now.

I agree with FL_Frank I too shop at Autozone because of their lifetime warranty. If you are going to keep the vehicle for several years it is easy for me to justify spending a little more money to get the lifetime warrranty. I just replaced all the brakes on my car and I'm taking the old ones...
