thanks for the pics, but thats not the filter I was thinking of. I am not sure now where I saw the one I am looking for. I have a m54 wrecker with the lds4651a with the c turbo here I put on my m35 but not what I want.
Thanks for the welcome, ma does not seem to have a lot of mv owners. I never see military related at car shows.I used to take my m715 to local car shows but it was the same cars year after year and they took turns with ribbons ect.
I want to make space under my hood. Will a fender mount 5 ton air filter swap on to my m35? Does anyone have a pic if this has already been done? I want to install an oil spinner .if I remove the stock filter I will have the room I need. thanks mark.
Replace the o ring seal with the proper new one. Tighten down the hold down screws evenly until the plunger hangs up then back off. Read the posts others have done, you can do it.
Rusty I dont have a choice, I have to trim it. That and mod my clutch peddle so its lower to the floor. I also need to find a smaller steering wheel. I think the cab is plenty strong for the way I will drive. I also had my knee replaced twice by the V.A. now it hardly bends and hurts like heck.
I had the same problem, you will be able to free up yours quicker than buying another. What worked for me was to use some B12 cem spray.I had tryd soaking in fuel but no luck. Get the b12 or try laquer thinner.I pulled the little plunger tit forgot what its called and sprayed b12 in ,put it in a...
I got the motor freed and found a stuck open intake valve.I was able to get some heat to it with a propane torch through the plug hole. I got it running today, but have a miss. I ran it for about 25 min to get it hot, after it cools I will do another compression test. At least I know it will run.
I wont be doing much till spring on this truck. I need to finish my m35A2 first. As you can see two m35 fuel tanks as well as 3 duce doors are on the frame. The cab has parts inside as well. this was all part of a deal I made for 3 trucks.
the dodge m601 truck has its bed mounted high on the frame with wheel wells below the bed. I think the m101a1 bed will look much better. I am trying to find a pic on the net of a m37 with 101 bed but cant find it.
Porkchop, I will post info on the marker lights for you and some better pics. I have only had time to pull the spark plugs and dump some atf and diesel into the cylinders as the motor is stuck. I did see one valve looked rusted, the rest looked ok. The cab is solid only the front fender has rot...
I just got my truck delivered. Here's a few quick pics to show you what I'm starting with. As you can see, this truck has no bed. It was originally a contact-maintenance truck. I am thinking of installing an M101 trailer bed on the back, although I'm not sure if it will fit. More pics to follow.
I have not been active here in years, but have been a long time mv owner. I have been into m715 and m37 but just bought my first duce. my truck is a 1976 m35a2 ex air force ang truck. The truck has a hard top and cab heater. the body is is real clean for a new england truck, however the seams...

I am trying to learn how to post pic.My three kids all know how.Teaching a old dog new tricks kinda thing. The set is so sweet, came with two new optima batterys. It starts easily without using the intake air heater. It runs at 1800 rpm and is much more quiet than my honda es 6500 I...
