yeah that's what mine is doing be sure that your getting 12 volts to the terminal on top of the pump too. that is the advance solenoid in the pump for cold start as well. I just want mine to work, its there why not make it work.

Hi yes this is all true alot of times you can bypass these switches just put a zip tie on the switch, or put both wires on the same side of the switch. the old style of the govener system on these truck is not very good they wont hold 60 hertz very well sometimes they hunt up and down and...

:ditto: OR.......get a 3M eraser wheel from the auto body store it goes in your drill with a arbor (supplied) and that will take off anything! wont hurt the paint, slower speed work better than fast just my option, i worked in a body shop for 10 years. :driver:
