    Tie Rod End replacement

Nice job! Saw your Utah shirt and realized you're just south of me. If you ever need a hand let me know. Would be cool to get our MTVR's together once I get my coolant leak fixed.

    So the MTVR adventure begins

I think it's the water pump, but haven't been able to locate the exact spot yet. For how big these trucks are the engine bay is pretty tight, not the mention everything is covered in rubber guards.

    So the MTVR adventure begins

This is all really good info thanks for sharing! I'm about to be in the same boat, mine just started a big coolant leak after 24 hours of driving. I hope it's just some old seals.

Are the door latches from ATAP?

    Bed Side Storage

Just picked up my new truck, but trying to figure out how to store the bed sides in back. Anyone have any pictures on what direction they go? With or without the troop seats?

Solar battery and diesel heater location on M1079

Left to right. My box is only 14 feet long so forward or back wouldn't have made a difference for me. I did center my main water tank as that's 120 gallons.

    M1078A1 "Pandora" Build | 2024-??? | ***Picture Heavy***

Subscribing to this. Good idea for paint on the wolverine pump. After my first winter outside, no driving even, it's rusted.

Sorry old thread revival, but just purchased the bluefire and the Y splitter, do you have a picture of this setup? Looking through the TM diagrams now to find the 12v ignition wire as well.

Solar battery and diesel heater location on M1079

Like others have mentioned try and keep the batteries centered if possible. When I planned out my interior I wanted to do power down one side and water down the other. After it's all been built, I wish I would of centered my big electrical components (batteries and inverters).

    16R20's gear advice

From what I have found they do fit, but will rub on hard turns and lots of articulation. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/53s-on-an-lmtv.158696/page-2
