I’ve got a 2004 with a Detroit engine that suddenly developed a power loss at higher RPM. It starts fine and idles fine, and also runs fine at low speeds. As soon as we try to get above 35 mphnor So, it looses power.

For those who have built or repaired slave cables, what is the best way to attach the lugs to the 2/0 cable? Solder, crimp, or both?

Several of us in our MV group have RT-524s with Vic-1s. It seems the RT-524s are frequently failing. Has anyone had luck with either connecting a civilian 6 Meter radio to a Vic-1, OR, connected a civilian 6 Meter radio to an aftermarket intercom system? Thanks in advance…Bill
