Hey guys I am looking for opinions as to why my 52 M-37 has an oil pressure gauge under the hood? It is mounted to the frame rail on the drivers side behind the axle, it still even has the oil pressure tube still attached to it. The pressure gauge is the same one as is in the cab its just...
Well I took lots of pictures of the carb during disassembly and cleaning and after I posted here and got zero replies I started hunting the the TM and for the first time ever I must say I found NOTHING specific to the ETW-1 B&B carb, guess that explains why nobody replied to my post! Thanks to...
Tony your a little over 200 miles from my location in Fargo, that is to far for me to drive a truck for a one day event. If you could come up with something with some camping and some good trail drives/convoys I would be there and I would guess I could get another 4 to 6 of ND boys to bring...
WOW! I believe my Dad would have been very pissed if I ever did something like that to any of his trucks! After we had the chat about the severe errors in my procedures I would have received a copy of the Lube order with a couple of other pages of tasks that had to be completed on the truck TO...
Hey guys I need to overhaul the carb on my 1952 M-37, I have the kit and all the parts to do it can anybody tell me the appropriate TM # that pertains to this procedure? It is the original carb on the truck that it came with from the factory!

Hello Folks I have a fairly simple question for you and after searching the forums and not finding what I need I thought to ask? Does anybody have a NAPA # for the carburetor float for my 1952 M-37? It is all military original in the carb area. Thanks very much

Hey folks I thought I had better update you on the M37 timing issues I was having. After reading all your posts I went out and pulled all the plug wires and pulled the Distributor cap off AGAIN and checked everything inside according to the TM and your directions, I then reassembled it all back...
GET ALL THE TMs, READ ALL THE TMs PRIOR TO PICKUP, BRING TMs WITH YOU WHEN YOU DO THE PICKUP!!!!!!!! If this is your first larger truck you DO NEED to be a little familiar with what makes this truck work and even more importantly what makes it NOT work and how to fix these possible NOT working...
If your M54 is a Multifuel you can turn up the fuel a bit with the IP to give you a little more power but dont expect miracles because your not going to get any! Also keep in mind this "MODIFICATION" to the engine is also going to greatly increase your potential of some very bad problems in the...
The blue ones are silicone hoses and in my experience they are the best, look at a new CAT piece of equipment, the CRITICAL TO OPERATION hoses are made of blue silicone! As was stated earlier they are the best BUT they do have a price tag attached! In my book its worth it!

Hey guys I was out in the warehouse getting trucks started for the season and when I fired up my 925 it ran fine and started immediately, after about 10 minutes if idling I went in and tried to increase the RPM to around 1000 RPM and the truck would NOT increase RPM, I then tried to do it at the...
Hey guys I think most if not all user of this site would agree that it is a blessing for all of us, myself included, is there some room for small improvements, YES and there ALWAYS will be, that is called progress! A couple days ago somebody posted an improvement to the site requesting a...
Hey guys I wanted to say thanks for the info and the engine was NOT turned over while the distributor was out and it is a 100% military original distributor and all internal components. I now have all the spark plug wires DEtached from the distributor I will remove the cap tomorrow after...
Hey guys I have a very basic question for you concerning setting the timing on my 52 M-37? When i pulled the distributor out I was at TDC on the #1 cylinder or should I possibly say the FRONT first cylinder, got the Distributor assembly done and reinstalled it and it appears I have a timing...
SouthJL if you strike out there I have had very good luck with USHIP, they hauled an M920 to me from Sacramento CA to Fargo ND for 3700$ the driver was so accommodating through it all I gave him another 200.00 for being so helpful!
