 Ok got a xtra cener section of a HMMWV i need to take apart to install 2.56 gears , does any bod know how to take the axle out of the carrier or maybe a TM number or manual show how to take apart any help will be great
Well i think the difrents is in the TC if you have the older style with the brake rotor i think is a 208 then i belive you have to change the fuel tank my had a 242 and i did not have to do anything hope this helps
I made the bracket for the fuel can and bolted to the bumper where the shackel would go, just finish the TC lock up it feels almost like another OD sweet, is of a toggle switch with a LED ligth to let me know its on...;)
yes still running the 6.2 have not found a 6.5 turbo yet , i'm using a transgo kit , i think will paint it either before the end of the year or at the bigining, working on the lock up at this moment shuld be fun
well is all done ,took me all day yesterday to complete it, it came out better than i though, easy to drive and shift, the gears follow the shifter movement they are firm and tigth and the truck feels ligther on the tjrotle maybe do to the xtra stall on the converter do to the lock up ability...
Got all the seals for the tranfer case today and had the rear propel shaft cut 2 inches after all my measurements that's what i came up with , need to relocated the fuel filter as this truck had it in the rear of the engine, this HMMWV are big but very tight on space i think tomorrow may...
As far of the 12 volt i only need 7 volts to the TCC selenoid and will be using ground to switch it on and off, if i was using a electronis version it would requiere 12 volt as well but with a CUCV is not a problem even with this 24 volt set up all you need is a step down converter it only...
No finish yet, got a few days left as i do this in my spare time, on a CUCV the shifter would be your biggest change as you
would need to change the shifter colum to a 4spd OD the good news they are everywhere as the civilan version came with the OD
for many year, my is full manual for now and...
Well i'm almost done with the 4l80E trany, redid the valve body to a full manual shift, it uses a vacum module of a 400 for increasing line pressure so i will be instaling a vacum pump set up like 1009, also got a deep pan need to modified a line inside so it sits flush is out of a later 99 or...
i still need the TPS i think 92 or 93 chevy will work and still going to go througth the trany and rebuild it even do is a running unit starting next week so if you find it its mine if you want to sale it
thx:razz:

thank you for the reply got that taking care off i made one out of both now could you help me with the rear drive shaft maybe you can measure yours from senter cup to center cup like to get it done before i start to take it apart thank yourofl
ok for the air hat , sure you can come up with something , you can use bolts with copper waher to keep boost from
leaking that what i use on my if i remenber is being a few years and i sold it but if not once again contact banks:lol:
not sure about the studs that hold the airbox i have a banks kit do not recall that, any braded hose will work if you are talking
about the feed line, you can use stailess nuts for the turbo hot side, if the manifold is strait you do not have to use a gasket
however ligth high temp silicone will...
