Here is the next resto project, the grey ghost will be picked up this weekend. This owner want's the truck done by Aberdeen so I have about 5 weeks to to the job!! Good thing is that this is a REAL nice truck (that I should have bought ) and will not need much. Herculiner in the cab floor...

Belts Yep, that's what I did. It takes a special dye for the belts themselves. Very expensive, better off going to Pep Boys and buying the HELP new black belts.

No dash cover, don't like them. This is a replacement Army grey dash pad that was in good shape, so I just used the SEM dye to paint it black. :mrgreen: Don't need to take off the cap off the truck to paint and clean. That's a real PITA. And doesn't add to the quality. I will not being...

progress... I got the interior floor painted with Herculiner, i used this stuff many times with good results. I also painted the wheels and wheel wells and under the front and back for the truck. I also got a chance to dye the interior parts black. This was a replacment dash pad (grey) and...

Dash pads When buying these dash pads you will have to hammer down the center of the dash support..the sheet metal... inorder for the pad to sit level on the dash support. I will post pictures when I install the dash in my current project. [thumbzup]

Painted! We the weather was good on Sat. so I did get a chance to paint. I think it turned out real nice. I like the color..it would make a great base color for an urban camo paint scheme. :grin: David

Dealers Yup. the dealers have now gotten wind of the trucks and have been driving the price up. Hard to find a nice truck on GL under 3K. BTW...nice score. You will NOT be able to buy these anymore on the retail market for $3950.00 for long. That truck was bought well. Good job. David
