Last I looked I think it was 90 Wt.. The Tm's should have it in there somewhere. The military may have used 30 Wt (the same stuff that comes in the tranny).
I saw that same filter and asked the same thing.. What I got in response was that many people have checked it many times and it always looked fine. What I was told is it's for when the IP goes bad, it's supposed to keep metal particles outta the system.
Smell the tranny fluid, if its bad it would have a real burnt smell after a trip like that. Tranny fluid in those things is originally oil not dex so it's gonna be brown instead of red.. It's under a trap door in the cab on the passenger side floorboard.. But I'm withe the other fellas on the...
That's a good question.. I think the last one I used was STP. The local auto store should have a few different ones, I would try the most popular name brand and not the least expensive.
When using a gladhand hose which side of the air system do you hook up to and do you need to prime the air system like you would for a trailer? Just ordered one for myself and I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out once it gets here, just curious..
Thanks!!
Talking about shimming the throttle spring? Is that the spring on the bracket attached to the IP? What is the best way to shim it?
thanks for any help!!
Hey gentlemen,
As y'all have stated earlier the actual antenna fender mount bracket is nearly impossible for me to find for my M932. I have everything else, "sugar scoop" and antenna base with coax. I checked with beltfed and many other sources with no luck. Just posting on the off chance...
Not sure about the 923 but there should be 3 levers/switches to the left of the steering wheel by the air filter indicator. The bottom right switch is the unlock switch, hold it up and at the same time move the top switch to the right. The bottom left switch is for the gauge lights.
Not sure what you mean by split ring? Is that like the deuce wheels? Not sure the wheels make much difference on the tire but I have heard those deuce wheels are pretty dangerous when mounting and dismounting tires. When making a trip that long be sure to have matching spares no matter what tire...
It depends on the age, pressure and condition of the tires. Are they cracked and dry rot? You really don't want a front tire that big going out. The speed rating on those tires it 56 MPH. A full size spare or two is recommended. Outside temp factors as well.
I read that same thread. It's a good one and very informative! I'm just trying to figure out how to register my truck between FMV or Farm Truck. I work on a ranch and if it's registered as a farm truck and is used as such, as I understand it that exempts me from any and all CDL requirements. I'm...
I was wondering if when anyone else views the forum threads, that the threads highlight themselves after a short time and make it extremely hard to read? The thred letters are in white and the highlight color is an off-white. I've read about the color changing and how it's hard to read for some...
