Thanks, I was looking for a height od 13' so with the 46" tires the rack would be approx 8" . I just like to have the option to safly haul spare tires, and misc;;;;; I think to pre fab in steel would be the way to go...
Raycor has a good set up for a 3 stage waste oil/fuel filter system, the heater is 24v dc and draws little power. I would pre filter before this system with both a 30 and 3 micron to remove most of the crap in the oil.
Wouldn't you want to be quiet, When I was a kid we used to install cherry bombs on our cars to make them rumble.
In my humble opinion the quieter the better, you can spend the same amount of money as the cherry to achieve this.
I am looking for a few different ideas for a low profile roof rack for a M109A2, any suggestions would be appreciated. The rack would span the entire Box Top only, not the cab. I was thinking an aluminum rack would be best. This option would be a good mounting source for spot lights and the like.
I was thinking of 3-M reflective tape, this stuff will stick on and will not come off, when a headlight approaches sometimes it is hard to distinguish the difference between a light and the tape, this comes in GREEN and the typical RED and WHITE. Personally I would go with GREEN.
That's my 2cents
I like road trips, my last one was San Clemente to Michigan, I took the south rout. I would like to have it hauled but I can not find someone to do it. Any suggestions would be appreciated..?
I bought a Deuce near the Laramie Airport 6 months ago, I am going to fly in, in a week or two, I am going to drive this truck back to Michigan. I am told the Battery's are dead, If there is a member close by I would like to pay them to either charge the battery's and take it back to their place...
I live in a Police State, and a County run by Nazis, Michigan law says if you are refueling, your vehicle must be in park and the engine turned off.
3-4 times a year I hear of someone getting a ticket for this, 52'2 District Court gave Dave a friend of mine a $300.00 fine when he went to court...
I have a question, did you just leave the gas station when this happened to your truck..? if so the same scenario just happened to me. I had flex fuel added to my 6.2 and my friend who did the mishap explained to me the same thing. He said there was a bang, then total loss of power. I was lucky...
