    I took some reference photos when I disassembled my winch but my camera took a demp. When the brake band is reassembled does the spring go between the tabs of the brake band or between the housing and the band tab? It is hard to tell from the TM diagram.

    I am reassembling my front winch and have a question about the drum seal at the gearcase. The TM says the seal mounts to the gearcase but mine is installed on the gearcase side of the drum. Am I missing something?

    I like the idea of the high beam cap since I have several of those. As I recall they screw on versus the bayonet fitting on the the turn signal switch housing.
