I have ferret and think it is an excellent choice for wheeled armor. I believe the cost to keep goes up as the size increases, And it is easy to store.
My m932A1 also has the valve pictured. It was also converted to S Cam brakes by military. None of the rest of the M939 series trucks I have, have the valve.
If the roblem is the brown gunk that results from old jet fuel being left in the tank to long try E 85 gas. It will desolve gunk and clean also will clean lines nicely. Does not seem to hurt rubber lines or IP if only left in for a day or 2. I'm not saying to start engine only as a flush on open...
