My dad and I had a good time....... the only thing wrong with the trip for me was getting "catfished" by a guy claiming to have some early cj stuff about a 2.5 hours drive north of the show........ 5 hours of round trip driving, about $70 in fuel and I find a guy that has a pile of parts that...
Actually, I am in a white f250 aptly named "mothball" towing a black haulmark cargo trailer-- both with NE tags......... (I considered bringing the Suburban with M101 but this way I could fit more stuff to bring)..........

Two things with Chinese manufacturing-- first off, they are notorious for making really good quality "pre-run" or "first run" batches of products. Essentially these are the products delivered for initial evaluation and testing. After the testing is done, or a contract is secured, the actual...
So here is the background----- This is one of the m915a1s that made multiple cross country treks back in 2010/2011 and ran like a sewing machine during those trips. After its last trek west in 2011, it has not moved from its parking spot but was started occasionally into 2013. It has not been...
If Gimpy falls off the fence and does not come, I will personally drag him there kicking and screaming---- Its just not the same without Gimpy!!!!!!!
(put to the theme song form the 1974 classic "the year without a santa claus")--- "it was the year without a gimpy rob, could Findlay be so...
The calculations still apply--- wattage is voltage times amperage (current).... For example, 1200 watts supplied by a 12 volt source effects a current draw of 100 amps---- that same 1200 watts supplied by 120 volts would be 10 amps
So then, the 1200 watt output at 24 vdc equates to 50 amps for...
I love the omnivolt led lights in my trailers and swapped almost all of them over from incandescent lights for the mere fact that I have both 12 and 24 volt vehicles----for instance, I can tow one of my m416 trailers behind my m151, swap over to my cucv, then go the the f250 and back without...
Do you have a 60amp alternator? I had this exact problem on my deuce years ago-- turned out to be crud buildup on the commutator/brushes-- I pulled off the rear cover/regulator from the alternator and hosed it out really good with electrical contact cleaner and it has performed perfectly ever...
As I said earlier, I can grab them when I go to OKC in the next few weeks....... then I can bring them east when I come out to the Aberdeen show in the spring.........

Usafcoldwarrior,
Life is a million times better out here than it ever was back in NJ (that's my opinion for myself and my family-- no disrespect towards fellow NJ steelsoldiers)
We do need some prayers though--- the county wants to change zoning to allow industry of a non-ag nature in near...
Not necessarily...... look back at my NJ to NE relocation saga...... We used all mil trucks and van trailers to move my household, my parents household, and my grandmother's household approx. 15oo miles. This included a lot of delicates such as antiques, china (a lot of china/porcelain -- my mom...
With the fuel filter, I have been there and done that--- it seems that the filter was a one off production with a port for the water sensor probe...... if you don't care about the probe, a standard filter will work (you just wont have that nifty little "water in fuel" light on your control...
Are you kidding me?????? Just look at how many fire departments, and other buyers they have screwed over with shoddy workmanship and bait and switch tactics.......... And I can attest to that as I have had dealings with them and got burned doing so............
