Thank YOU for the FUBARing for the rest of us... so we don't lol. :papabear:
Oh wait... :3dAngus: I take that back..... dang you ...... NOW we have No EXCUSES... we've been warned.... and provided with reality example. grrr :hammer:
yup like others said.... Allison sorta screwed up and gave numbers to things that dont fit conventional thinking. Think of it more this way.:

that is what I was thinking... like it cracked at the casting mark. you can also see at least one of the cracks radiating out inwardly of the circle though in which he mentioned.
thats crazy......
Maybe fore you go much further put a "run out gauge" (think that is proper term/tool) on the block and dial it to your crank end. slowly turn it and see if it turns w/out micro wobble? Or maybe just to check if the end of the crank is not milled funky.... that is such a...

so was the whole green panel portion suppose to come out along with the keypad?
how did you end up getting the rest out?
Curious; in part, cause myself and others have a new keypad to put in.. and don't want to run into same issue.
ahhh... ok.. deeper back than have been thus far. does a bolt go thru it... or is it a rubber plug-ish thing that gets compressed into place via other bolts holding that housing in place on the truck orr?
also quoting someone's post is more liable to get their attention. or better yet in this cause just use @ before their name and it will bring up a box to select a member and do this @RandomThinker / @Plasa
to avoid scammers going nuts the second after they find their way onto the a discussion board .... often sites have minimal number of post required before a new member can do certain actions... such as post pictures..... and PMing people
you will likely have Pm privileges soon
JH diesel who owns those trucks/did those videos lives right where Ian's eye came thru in FL. He has done one very short post to say he is on ok on Instagram since Ian. He did mention that he using his air boat and both trucks to help there.
this is a list I put together for ideas on building your own version of a "charging" pulse tech w/balance ability. Not all the products on the list are still on Amazon but they would lead you to ideas on what to search for...

First step. Go to first page of this steel soldiers discussion board..... then to the TM forum. and get all the manuals for this truck. Being a 98, especially if it has the 3116 engine.... then this is what is considered an A0 truck.
catch 22 is apparently the law states you MUST have some indicator about low air. Technically it appears it can be a warning light OR a buzzer. Truckers tend to report that in reality during DOT inspections a warning light does not cut it. It's either, have a buzzer... or get a big fat fine...
IMHO..... when one has questions that are more about the truck than the RV side.... suggest they be asked in the matching military SS truck forum where there are more gear heads. Also, and most importantly IMHO, it sorta compartmentalizes the information and helps others searching for stuff...
