    Speedometer Flutter

There is an adapter that screws into the end of the speeodmeter cable after it is disconnected and it has a zerk fitting. A few pumps of a grease gun and it will bring back a jerky cable if it is not cut or frayed. I think dorman or Help made it which I think are now the same company.

Is it safer to wear seatbelts, or not?

I wear mine all the time. Period, no discussion on my part. Having been T boned in a civilian vehicle that flipped on its side; I , my wife and my son in a car seat were fine. Friend in back not belted in suffered injuries. Not worth it not to do it.

    M101A1 hand brake cable

Thanks for the tip! I needed one and epay had a bucket load of them quite reasonable at 2 for $25. Easy way to tell A1 is no wheel cylinder or hydraulics. A2/3 have wheel cylinders. Stay Safe

There are different ones. I have seen for one cable and a wider one for multiple. Which are you seeking? They also use a metal flange.

Pintle extension using A2 Airlift reinforcement plate or not?

I did so just needed longer bolts from what I remember. I wanted all the metal more for crash protection than towing capacity. Just my .02

    Another stupid question

many opinions on tire pressure. IMHO, if you are doing interstate/highway driving, i would bring them up to 30-35 psi. Tires are rated for it. No modern tires going on the interstate speeds are inflated so low. Low presuure increases traction but at highway speed they drastically increase the...

reuse the head bolts on a NHC 250?

they are not stretch to torque yield like in current automotive applications, old school hardened bolts. Remember these engines were designed I think in the 60's or early 70's?

    M116A3 Jack Leg repair

One of the ways to distinguish rear legs is the shape of the landing pad. Most I have seen are round. I use the stock mount for the front handle and it is robust. If pin is ok, it won't go anywhere without human intervention. I have 10,000 miles towing mine all over the states.
