Hey guys, the Cafepress store is still open for business. All of the procedes go back to the site. Eventually Mike and I will have an official store set up at one of our houses where we will stock stickers, T's, etc... so we can have better quality control and make more money for the site too.
OH yeah, thanks for clearing that up Fred. I remember now, thanks for the tug Chris!!
So there will be a contingent of 715s there this year too eh? Nice, I have been wanting to see 'em in action. That is a smooth looking 715 Fred.
Hey! Who you callin' light duty?! :) :)
The SEE tractors are sweet, but all that frickin equipment makes 'em slower than next Christmas. My bro lives in NC. The guard down there has a fleet of them to clean up pine trees, etc... after ice storms.
15x8 steelies, nice strong wheel too. Looks similar to the civi wheel without the beauty ring and center cap, but they are different. Mine came on a set of white wagon wheels in 1995, bleck... Had to call Boyce and buy a set.
Sweet! That towbar may come in handy in case someone breaks their junk. I need to find a winch for the Mog so I can hit the sippy hole again this year :)
I hope we can at least double the attendance from last year. People are really going to freak out!
Holy crap Socomsam! You found my old site on Archive.org! That's awesome, just the pick-me-up I needed. Such humble beginnings...
It wouldn't be so bad parting with the CUCV if I had my Mog here. I might have to make a trip to WV in the next week or two to bring it down here. Gotta start...
Well folks, it was a sad day today. My 1984 M1009 CUCV was sold.
For those of you who don't know, my CUCV was the inspiration for this whole website. I bought it in 1995, back when there wasn't a whole lot of info out there about them.
I decided to start Chris' CUCV Homepage on MSN...
The old WD-40 would work nicely for that, but with a the new clean air regs out there, they took all the good propellant out of it, it was butane or propane before. Now it ain't nearly as combustible.
The 14th would work the best for yours truly since I will probably be taking my wife somewhere that next week (23-30th) for our anniversary. Anybody else have any thoughts beside me and WT?
So we're talking the 14th thru the 17th right? That should work nicely. My buddy Jess is psyched to bring his MegaTent again this year. Hopefully it doesn't dump the rain the whole time. A little rain makes for nice mud, but it puts a damper on trail repairs.
So where we campin this year...
I'll be there again this year fellas and hopefully the Mog will have a snorkle so I can tackle that hole again and a new carb so I don't kill the rest of the crew with fumes :)
3rd weekend in June is my brother-in-law's wedding and I am in it soooo, anyone for July?
Hello Ziggy! Welcome from the Commonwealth of Virginia! I am looking forward to catching up with some of you guys on the way to Aberdeen this year... so long as the Mog is roadworthy by then :)
Hey Guys,
Thanks for pitching in for the move. It really helps out a lot! Hang in there with us. It is definitely a good thing that we have to move because we are too big and too busy. That means we are doing something right and that MV lovers around the world are finding each other here...
Bjorn is correct, there seems to be a problem with including the sig. Uncheck the box at the bottom of the reply screen and it seems to work much better.
