    Let the fun begin

30 should not cause a problem. Are they all leaking? use soapy water and see where the leak is? On the Alt, Post a pic of your brackets & wiring. It can have a 60amp stock older prestolite unit or an upgraded 100 or 200 amp niehoff?

CV boot clamp. How ? Tool?

You feed the slack through and tighten the screw/nut till the slack out and twist/cut the excess off and use the other pliers to tighten the nub like the smaller clamp is what I recall.

    Question about a tool

Those are not pressed. I thought it was just a nut and washer on a key way.

    Question about a tool

Yes, It is a saginaw pump. The stud threads into the internal pump shaft. The round ring collar is split and fits around the edge of the pulley rim and the other part is tightened to press it off the smooth outer shaft of the pump.

HMMWV Grote LEd lights don't fit housings

The original cast metal ones worked for me with Grote. You just need to find the older metal ones instead of the stock plastic unless they are the specific Grote or Truck lite ones.

    GL Lost Surplus Contract

There will no longer be bargains to be had. IP has successfully squeezed the price up on most commodities. There will be no more $25 lots like there is no $100 trailers anymore. Everything will be retail priced. I am afraid I don't see any good news in this announcement...... Since they...

    Sealant/ Gasket maker.

Ditto and Bingo. There is a current relatively newer RTV specifically for Gear oil. That is what I use for axle gaskets and differential covers. Has not let me down yet.

    Thermostat gasket

The truck uses a standard radiator cap so I would recommend going to Auto Zone or O'reilly and using their loaner tool coolant system pressure tester. Crank up to 15psi and find the leak(s) I personally on any application calling for a cork or paper gasket use RTV silicone instead. They now...

    Parts for Scepter cans

It is a common problem with the 1st generation gaskets. When used with Gas or contaminated, they swell breaking off the retaining ring for the gasket off the flange. Use a Viton gasket. End of problem. I get my Scepter parts from DS tactical in Canada. They carry the full line including color...

    Power Steering

I would suggest checking the orings at each hose connection. I suspect you are sucking in air somewhere. Which o ring did you change? the one at the hose fitting on the pump? If so duplicate your efforts at all the fitting ends. Several members have had this issue due to orings.
